Welcome to the Professional Development Training Website. 

To get started please take a minute and read the information below.

There are two (2) course formats:

  • Self-enrollment:      Required by all 9-1-1 personnel to complete mandatory training (i.e. NAED Monthly Journal Quiz).  An enrollment key will be provided by Professional Development.

  • Registered user:     Restricted to specific trainees and/or telecommunicators (i.e. New Hire classes, CTO’s).  Professional Development must enroll you in this course to access.

Instructions on the use of Moodle and navigating the classroom courses have been placed on the Bulletin Board Folder on the Resource Computer.

This program will provide a new hire employee within the Division of 9-1-1 with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities through a series of courses to function as a proficient call-taker.

  • Hazardous Materials Awareness
  • Employee Fire Extinguisher Training
  • ACES Policies, Procedures, and Directives
